Vocaltutor Artist Development

Over the years Vocaltutor has been involved in many levels of artist development, mentoring its students and associates, on everything from self promotion, songwriting, musical identity. Vocaltutor are now looking to offer artist development sessions on top of its current 1-2-1 singing lessons at only 30.00 per hour. Vocaltutor have two artist development experts – Penny Foster (see the vocaltutor website for more details of Penny) & Georgina Hill-Brown the principal and founder of Vocaltutor.

X Factor judges heading to America?

It seems that Simon Cowell is in talks with US broadcasting network Fox to launch a US version of the X Factor, and he wants Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh to head up the show, according to The Sun.

An ‘insider’ is quoted in the paper as saying, “Simon is really keen on bringing the X Factor to America as it has been such a hit in the UK.

“And he is convinced that the yanks will love Cheryl and Louis.

“He’s made no secret of the fact that he wants to expand his TV interests around the world and this is one of the first big ideas he’s got… 

“It’s early days but he hopes to get it on air next year.”

However, the chances are, Simon won’t be on the show himself. Already worth an estimated £120 million, he’s about to embark on a new “one stop entertainment company” venture with billionaire Philip Greene who made his fortune in part by running Topshop.

Singer/songwriters required for recording enthusiast United Kingdom

If you’re a singer, songwriter and/or musician who would like to make a recording and look at other promotional/recording possibilities, read on. You must be local to Telford, Shropshire!

Solo & duo artists would be preferred. At the moment up to 20 channel input, full digital multi-track (24+) recording, mixing, editing and effects are available. Full midi/audio mastering, everything a pro studio has but in a limited space. Pre-recorded backing is also available for the vocalist. Please note, this is not a professional recording studio, and I am a recording enthusiast (amateur) looking to collaborate with other music enthusiasts.

Experience is not required, just a desire to work and produce a great professional recording am a photographer by profession and also a keen/advanced videography, so album covers and music video are also very much a possibility for those involved.
